SUMMARY:XIII European Symposium on Poultry GENETICS (Gdansk\, Poland)
DESCRIPTION:The 13th European Symposium on Poultry Genetics\, which will be held in Gdansk (Poland) from 8th to 10th October 2025. The Organizers of the Symposium are Working Group 3 Breeding and Genetics of WPSA and the Polish Branch of the World’s Poultry Science Association (PO WPSA). \nMeetings of poultry geneticists and breeders have a long and beautiful history.  They have been a platform for fruitful debates between academia and industry for the last 25 years. The first European Symposium on Poultry Genetics held in 1999 year in Mariensee (Germany)\, being a good example of uniting Europe. \nIn 2025 in Gdańsk we hope to host the delegates from the scientific community as well as from the industry from across Europe and other continents. The young scientists and PhD students are invited to participate in the competition for the best scientific reports. \nOur delegates will find the opportunities to familiarize themselves with the most recent advances in poultry genetics and learn about cutting-edge research\, share and discuss the views\, network with other professionals in the genetics field and explore the beautiful city of Gdańsk.\nGdańsk – one of the most beautiful cities in Poland\, is a city with a beautiful a deep history\, dialogue and known as a City of Solidarity and Freedom.\nGdańsk is part of the Tricity\, consisting of modernist Gdynia and the charming resort of Sopot.
