DESCRIPTION:The Croatian Branch of the World’s Poultry Science Association organizes the XXth European Symposium on the Quality of Eggs and Egg Products and the XXVIth European Symposium on the Quality of Poultry Meat. \nThis Symposium is organized every two years jointly by Working Groups 4 and 5 of the European Federation of WPSA\, and this time it will be held between September 14 to 17\, 2025 in Zadar\, Croatia. \nThe meetings of the working groups have a long history\, in the case of the meat WG 5 starting in 1973 and for egg WG 4 since 1991. \nThese meetings are important in making sure we educate future scientists and keep advancing to meet the biggest challenges the world faces in terms of sustainable food supply. \nThe events provide a unique opportunity for the scientific community\, practice sector\, and all associated with the poultry sector to exchange recent advances. \nThe 3000-year-old city of Zadar\, full of amazing cultural heritage surrounding charming coastal resorts\, islands and national parks is the location of the Symposium. \n

SUMMARY:LIX Symposium Científico de Avicultura de WPSA-AECA (Granada)
DESCRIPTION:Granada será del 24 al 26 septiembre de 2025 el punto de encuentro imprescindible para quien vive de la avicultura. El LIX Symposium Científico de Avicultura \, organizado por la Asociación Española de Avicultura Científica (WPSA-AECA)\, la representación en España de la World’s Poultry Science Association\, reunirá a prácticamente todos los profesionales más relevantes de la avicultura en España durante dos días y medio. \nEl programa de conferencias es muy ambicioso y completo\, pues se impartirán 17 ponencias de alto nivel que conectan ciencia y granja: cómo gestionar una mayor longevidad desde el primer día\, integridad intestinal y estrés oxidativo\, nutrición sensorial (gusto y olfato en aves)\, subproductos del aceite de oliva\, IA aplicada y ganadería de precisión\, metapneumovirus en broilers\, panorama del pavo en Europa\, calidad de carne\, farmacovigilancia\, sostenibilidad\, nuevos marcos regulatorios\, etc.\, etc. A estas ponencias hay que sumar las diferentes comunicaciones orales de 10 minutos y posters que se presentarán durante el Symposium.\nPero no todo es formación y aprendizaje\, pues en el Symposium hay un tiempo reservado para networking de alto valor en un marco incomparable\, mientras se disfruta de la ciudad de Granada y se visita a fondo La Alhambra\, que en 1984 fue el primer lugar de España declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la Unesco.
